Saturday
Well, I’m just about all better now. I went into work on Friday and did not take any meds because it was the first day I actually felt normal. Of course, I did end up with a kink in my neck that made me want to take a painkiller, but I resisted the urge and survived on ibuprofen. The kink continues today, but the ibuprofen and the icy hot are keeping it at bay.
I started the garden today. I have three little greenhouse boxes of seeds planted, with Boy 1’s help. Boy 2 is busy playing Roblox right now. Boy 1 is grounded today after being particularly disrespectful last night, so he is being extra helpful in hopes of being ungrounded by tomorrow so he can visit his friend.
The husband is at work… today is a cleaning day. Tomorrow we plan to go to the Field Museum and check out the new Mythic Creatures exhibit.
My Garden’s Hero

I’m working on my plan for gardening this year (quick! it’s almost spring!) and I ran across this beautiful garden. This garden is my garden’s hero.
Here are some garden plans based on it.
